Formed in 1980, The Kansas City Securities Association's (KCSA) membership is composed of investment professionals in and about the Kansas City metro area. The Board of Directors meets monthly to discuss industry issues and to determine what can be done to benefit our members in keeping current with industry updates. In the past, KCSA has sponsored numerous presentations by local companies, giving participants the opportunity to interact with these companies.
Along with benefiting the membership, the KCSA is very focused
on the needs of the community. This year marks our 25th
year in association with the Marching Cobra's, the 14th
year in association with the Negro League Baseball Museum,
and the 9th year we have presented scholarships to UMKC
in honor of Sam Davidson. To date we have awarded more than
150 scholarships totalling $808,000.
KCSA has two major events every year. The first is our Spring outing in May - a two day event attended by local members, industry leaders and various market related vendors. KCSA also sponsors a holiday party in December as a way to say thank you to all of our supporters and sponsors.
The Board is always looking to expand our scholarship programs and our charitable contributions to other local organizations. Without people like you, our generous sponsors and supporters, none of this would be possible.
